From the moment I met Francesca and Marshall at our consultation, I knew their wedding day was going to be one for the books. They were the absolute sweetest and their love for each other lit up the whole room!
This was my first time at Rust Manor House and let’s just say it was love at first sight (insert heart eye smiley!). Just look at this place! The most gorgeous 100 year old mansion, tucked back in the trees of Leesburg, Virginia. Not only was it beautiful, but it fit Francesca and Marshall perfectly!
Francesca’s dress looked like it was made just to be worn here – how perfectly does it fit in that window?!
Throughout the day, I witnessed some of the most precious moments. I watched Francesca’s mom help her get into her dress and listened to the sound of their laughter fill the room. I saw Marshall’s dad leave them the sweetest note in their guest book. I teared up as I watched Francesca open the most heartwarming gift from her groom – a journal that he had kept since the day he asked her to marry him. I watched behind the lens as they exchanged their vows to remain together forever.
It is so much more to me than just taking a picture. It is being there with you in the moment, experiencing it with you, and making sure to capture the emotion that you’re feeling. These moments are ones you can never get back and they are the moments you want and need to be able to look back on for years to come.
