After corresponding via e-mail for several weeks, I was so excited to finally meet Chelsea and Boyd for their engagement session!  Once Chelsea told me where they wanted to have their engagement session take place, I knew it was going to be special.

Chelsea and Boyd chose to do their engagement session at James Madison University where they met and fell in love.  How sweet is that?

This sweet couple met at JMU while they were both students.  What started out as a friendship, quickly turned into more.  Chelsea and Boyd took me to the exact location where they made their relationship “official”.  Boyd told me the story of how it was late one evening when he decided to ask Chelsea to go for a walk on one of the nature trails at JMU.  Chelsea was a little worried they would get in trouble, but she soon was so glad she went!

They arrived at the perfect spot, nestled in the trees, where they talked and enjoyed time together.  It was on the exact bench they’re sitting on below that Boyd asked Chelsea to be his girlfriend!  Of course she accepted 😉

As time passed, they knew it was more than just a college relationship – they were meant to be together forever!  Boyd proposed at a special location near Chelsea’s home where the two of them had spent many days together while dating.

Of course, we all know that Chelsea said “Yes!”

Now in just a few short months, these two will be entering into a lifetime together!

Congratulations, Chelsea and Boyd!  I can’t wait to celebrate with both of you in August!
