My animal-loving heart was so excited when Sara told me they wanted to include their pets in their engagement photos. Animals are always a major yes from me!

I met Sara and Bo at their home for the first portion of their session. It was the perfect fall day with the sun shining and beautiful leaves all around. Sara and Bo were joined by their pups, horses, and pig for their photos. Not only was I excited to meet Sara and Bo, but I was equally excited to meet their animals.

After finishing up the first portion of their session, we headed to Kernstown Battlefield to wrap things up. The battlefield holds so many perfect locations for portraits. The options are truly endless! Not to mention, hello beautiful and gorgeous light shining through the lovely Willow Trees! My photographer heart eyes were poking out like crazy. I’m positive Bo thought I was never going to let them leave 😉
