Caboose Farms Wedding | Melissa and Mike
Melissa and Mike had the sweetest November wedding at Caboose Farms in Sabillasville, Maryland. It was a chilly, yet beautiful November evening for them to tie the knot.
The day began at Caboose Farms with Melissa and Mike getting ready with their guys and girls. One of my favorite moments during the getting ready portion of the day was watching Melissa’s mom help her button her dress. The tears were flowing and it was just so heart warming. It took me back to my own wedding day when my mom helped me get dressed. These moments are the ones you will forever cherish and never forget.
Surrounded by their family and friends, they said their vows amongst the trees with a creek flowing behind as the sun was setting. As soon as Mike saw his beautiful bride, he couldn’t hold back the tears. It was heartwarming and such a sweet moment to witness. The love these two share for each other is precious.
Melissa and Mike met at work 10 years ago. In the words of Melissa’s best friend and maid of honor – “They work pretty well together”.
Just before entering their reception, I snuck off with Melissa and Mike to capture one of their must have photos – a night portrait in the field by a big tree. We were all frozen, but was it ever worth it for that one photo! With their wedding taking place in the evening, we didn’t have much time for many portraits so it was very important that we at least captured this one image at the top of their list.
It was so obvious how very loved Melissa and Mike are by both their family and their friends. The night was filled with laughter, tears, and so many smiles.
