Karys and Blaine’s Stone Tower Winery wedding day was nothing short of absolutely beautiful! They could not have asked for a more perfect day. It was such a pretty, sunny Virginia summer day. The love these two share for each other made it that much more perfect.

Stone Tower Winery has some of the most beautiful scenery in northern Virginia. The rolling hills of vineyards, heart-shaped pond, and breathtaking mountain views – it’s like a postcard everywhere you look. It is truly a photographers dream with endless options of photo opportunities. Not to mention, Karys and Blaine’s choice of romantic colors and gorgeous florals made the day even more beautiful.

Karys and Blaine’s wedding day started with lovely details, heartwarming personal vows, and the sweetest father/daughter first look. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room as we captured Karys and Blaine reading their personal vows. It was such a special moment and truly showed how much these precious high school sweethearts adore each other.

Before moving on to portrait time, Karys shared a first look with her dad. These moments always warm my heart and make me think of my dad and I on my wedding day. It is almost guaranteed I will be fogging up my camera viewfinder with my tears. Karys and her dad share such a special bond. It was absolutely precious to watch Karys’ dad’s eyes not only well up with tears, but with so much love and pride for his beautiful little girl.

After the day began so beautifully, I knew it was going to continue throughout the remainder of the day. Karys and Blaine shared their vows on the hillside surrounded by their family and friends. It was the perfect setting with the vineyard, mountains, and sun wrapping around them.

Following the ceremony, we continued with additional portraits before it was time for Karys and Blaine to join the party and enjoy the rest of the night celebrating with their family and friends. As always, I had to sneak them away one last time for sunset portraits. This is always a great time to step away for some alone time plus capture beautiful, romantic images.
