The quaint little town of Middleburg, Virginia was the perfect location for Aileen and Eric’s engagement session. It was a chilly, but beautifully sunny evening. Surprisingly, we nearly had the small town to ourselves!
I had the absolute best time exploring the streets of Middleburg with Aileen and Eric. We had the prettiest light and the cutest spots for photos. If you haven’t been to this little town, then it is a must visit! There are cute little shops and restaurants – it’s like walking through a small little Hallmark movie town. Keep scrolling to see some of my favorites with the white picket fence and light shining through the trees!
I hear so often from my couples that they haven’t had professional photos taken before so they’re not quite sure what to do. We had a similar conversation to this at the start of Aileen and Eric’s session. BUT! Let me tell you – these two are absolute naturals. Just look at them! They are so cute together!
As we walked the streets of Middleburg, I had the pleasure of getting to know Aileen and Eric a bit more. Like many love stories these days, theirs began by meeting online. They shared their first date on Valentine’s day – how cute is that?
Eric proposed to Aileen at the beautiful Meadowlark Botanical Gardens. Aileen said she was a bit suspicious of what might be about to happen since Eric kept touching his shirt pocket. Sure enough, she was right! Following their engagement, Eric had planned a party with their friends to celebrate.
Now here they are planning a sweet, intimate wedding with their families! I am so happy for Aileen and Eric and simply can not wait to capture their special day at The Tides Inn this August!
