It was a lovely morning for Nora and Jack’s DC Cherry Blossom engagement session. Watching the sunrise while the trees are in peak bloom are the perfect combination. It made for such a beautiful backdrop for this sweet engagement session.

Even though the beautiful blooms were making it look like spring, the weather felt like the dead of winter. However, we all came prepared with our jackets and hand warmers. We were ready to make our way around the Tidal Basin and soak in the famous DC cherry blossom season.

One of my favorite parts of every engagement session is getting to hear all about my couples’ plans for their wedding day. It makes me so excited to hear their excitement for their special day. Nora and Jack were simply glowing talking about their special day. It was so evident that these high school sweethearts share such a special love for one another.

By then end of their engagement session, we were all a bit frozen, but agreed that it was totally worth it! (Keep scrolling and you’ll agree with us!) I had so much fun getting to know Nora and Jack a bit more and laughing our way through the cold morning.

I am so excited for these two and I can’t wait to capture their special day at 8 Chains North this fall!
