I was so glad I was able to meet with Julia and Nathan for their engagement session in Washington, DC. We were able to meet just a few days after the National Park Service announced that the cherry blossoms had reached peak bloom. Talk about perfect timing!

One thing I will never say “No” to is when I have couples ask me if they can bring their dog(s) along with them for their engagement session. I will always answer with a quick “Yes!”. I love animals and meeting your furry friends always puts a smile on my face.

Julia and Nathan decided to include their puppies, Lacie and Linus. They were so fluffy, happy, and sweet! (Shout out to Julia’s sweet friend for coming along to help with the pups!) It was like they were puppy pros in front of the camera. They were ready and looking – or they possibly could have been looking the treats. Either way, we were able to get some great photos with them!

This Washington, DC engagement session was so fun. I had the best time getting to know Julia and Nathan and simply can’t wait for their 2025 wedding at The Oak Barn at Loyalty.
