A couple of months ago I attended my very first styled wedding shoot! It was exciting, nerve racking, and so beautiful! I was so nervous to attend. I had no idea what to expect and I knew there would be many photographers there with much more experience than me!
I stepped out of my comfort zone though and went for it. It was…SO. MUCH. FUN! Once I got there and met some of the others my nerves slowly subsided and the excitement kicked in full force.
The shoot was called “En Plein Air” which means an “outdoor work of art” in French. I literally felt as if I had stepped into a vineyard in France. It was so pretty! From the rolling hills to the beautiful grapevines, it was like a painting. Not to mention the amazing florals, invitation suites, dessert table, and oh, the gorgeous models!!
It was such a pleasure to be a part of such an amazing day. I started off completely nervous and left totally excited and ready for the next one! It was the best experience to work along photographers that have been in the industry for many years. I learned so much!
One thing I learned from that day? There will always be someone that has done it longer than you and does it better than you. Don’t be intimidated by it. Instead, take it as an opportunity to learn from them. We all have to start somewhere.
On that note, get ready for photo overload! I have a bazillion favorites from this day. So get to scrolling, y’all!
A huge thank you to all of those that made this beautiful shoot possible!
