Historic downtown Harpers Ferry, West Virginia was the perfect location for Alison and Joe’s engagement session. It turned out to be the perfect December evening for their session. The air was a bit chilly, but there was just the right amount of sunshine.
Alison and Joe decided to include their fur puppy, Bruce, in their Harpers Ferry engagement session. It is always so much fun when my couples include their pups. Bruce was such a little ham. He looked right at the camera and was ready for his photo. He stole the show a little bit at first.
After photos with Bruce, we moved on to focusing on photos of just Alison and Joe. These two were so much fun to work with. There wasn’t a dull moment their entire session. We laughed from beginning to end – as you can see by their smiles!
Harpers Ferry is such a beautiful place, and was especially lovely with their Christmas decorations throughout. It was the perfect touch to this December engagement session. After taking some photos in town, we hiked to Jefferson Rock and the historic church to capture the view. It truly is so pretty there any time of year.
Make sure to keep an eye out for these two as they will be popping up on the blog again after their wedding at Stone Tower Winery in August 2022!
