I had the best time with this sweet couple for their engagement session. They were so cute together and I absolutely loved the time that we were able to spend capturing some memories for them before their BIG day!
The weather was beautiful. So sunny. So so sunny. Which is usually a photographer’s complete and utter nightmare. I drove up to the park and all I saw was harsh sunlight everywhere. I felt like it was caving in on me (okay, a little overly dramatic, but you get the point!). These two were so amazing and so patient as we walked around and found the most beautiful locations.
God provided the perfect amount of shade and we were able to capture some amazing photos!
AND! There were pretty pink blooms on just 3 trees. Yes, just 3, but just enough!
Made. My. Day. Y’all!
Let me tell you, this bride-to-be was a trooper. She had on a lovely dress and heels and didn’t even flinch when I asked them to stand under trees with the ground being muddy and yucky. Her heels were sinking into the ground and yet she still had the most beautiful smile and made it such an enjoyable time!
Thankfully, I did happen to have an old business card in my camera bag that we used to scrape off some of that yucky mud. Hey, whatever works, right?!
Congratulations, you two! I can not wait to capture your special day in August!
It’s going to be amazing <3
