Where do I even begin with Courtney and Robert?  I first met them at their consultation back in January of this year.  The moment I met them I thought they were absolutely precious!  Which they are, as you can see!

The Engagement Session

To say I was excited that Courtney chose Stone Tower Winery for their engagement session would be a complete understatement.  I absolutely love Stone Tower Winery with all of the beautiful rolling hills full of vineyards, a heart-shaped pond, and a gorgeous view of the mountains in the distance.

We were able to enter the winery prior to them opening to the public.  We had the entire place to ourselves!  The weather was gorgeous, slightly overcast which makes for beautiful portraits.

Courtney and Robert decided to include their sweet puppy, Cooper, in some of their photos.  He is the cutest Dalmatian who loves to give kisses and have his little ears scratched.  He is just as excited as they are for the big day!

As we walked around the beautiful Stone Tower Winery for their engagement session, I was able to hear all about how they met, fell in love, and how Robert proposed.  Here’s a small glimpse at their love story…

History in the Making

It all started in high school when Courtney and Robert met in the history class they shared together.  From that point they became inseparable.  I guess you could say from then on, the rest was history 😉 Corny, yes, but it HAD to be thrown in there!  You can’t tell me you weren’t thinking the same thing.  Just admit it!

Fast forward a few years later and they both knew they wanted to spend a lifetime together.

So,  on a special trip to NYC, Robert decided it was time to pop the question.  Courtney thought he was acting awfully strange, but continued on with their walk in Central Park (!!!) (Does it get anymore perfect?!)  Then it happened!

Robert got down on one knee and said those sweet words every girl longs to hear, “Will you marry me?”.  Courtney of course said yes!

Now fast forward and here they are in the midst of planning their dream day.  Their dream day to finally say “I Do” to a lifetime together.

August 31 will be here before we know it!  Congratulations, Courtney and Robert!  I can’t wait to celebrate with you on your special day!
