Where do I even begin with Amy and Jeff’s wedding at The Barn at Willow Brook? Their day was so heartfelt and special from start to finish. Even though there were a few clouds and sprinkles, that didn’t stop them from enjoying every single second of their wedding day.
The day began with some of the sweetest details I’ve photographed. Amy included a pin and ring box that belonged to her grandmother. The ring box was her grandmother’s engagement ring box. How sweet is that? These make the details that much more special. This is why I always encourage my bride’s to include family heirlooms, if they have them.
Amy’s grandmother lives in England and was unable to make the trip for her wedding day. Amy still wanted her grandmother to be apart of her special day so she decided to Facetime with her. After Amy stepped into her wedding dress, she called her grandmother and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room or the phone! It was such a special moment to witness and one that I know will be held close to their hearts for years to come.
The tears continued to flow as Amy shared a first look with her dad and then with Jeff. These moments are some of my personal favorite to photograph. The moments that you want to freeze in time and bottle up in your heart forever.
Their ceremony was equally as beautiful as the rest of the day. Amy and Jeff were all smiles throughout and you could see the love between them.
After celebrating with their family and friends, Amy and Jeff ended the evening with one of the most epic sparkler exits. It was a night we will never forget! Congratulations, Amy and Jeff! Wishing you both many years of happiness.
