I absolutely love meeting my couples for their engagement session. It is just an added bonus when they choose beautiful location like Old Town Alexandria. Vivian and Mike could not have chosen a more perfect evening for their session. There were storm clouds rolling in, but thankfully we were able to just barely miss the rain.

I was immediately excited when Vivian told me they’d have a special little guest with them for their session. Who might this guest be? Their adorable little pup, Macallan. Vivian and Mike looked fantastic, but can we just take a minute to appreciate the fact that even their handsome little pup was dressed up? Just look at that sweater and bowtie! He was one dapper little dog.

We enjoyed strolling the streets of Old Town Alexandria. It is truly a town that never disappoints. There are so many locations for photos, it can sometimes be overwhelming. Everywhere you look there’s a perfect spot for a photo opt.

One of my favorite things about engagement sessions is getting to know my couples. We always have a great time talking, laughing and just having a great time. I enjoyed hearing about Vivian and Mike’s love for Colorado and snowboarding as well as their plans for their epic elopement there!
